5thPort™ Announces Major Functionality Enhancements

Augusta, Maine (August 24, 2021): 5thPort™, the best-in-class cloud-based patient engagement and eConsent solution, announces significant enhancements in its latest release for clinical trials and healthcare providers. This release has been several months in the making with extensive development, testing, and piloting with select partners before its general release to all customers.

  • With single-sign-on (SSO) authentication, healthcare providers and clinical trial staff (including sites, CROs, sponsors) can automatically log into the provider environment without having to repeatedly enter their credentials each time.
  • Our One Touch Compliance™ report is a simple way to comply with audit requests. This comprehensive report lets clinical researchers and healthcare providers see actions taken on patient encounters by colleagues and patients in real time.
  • Patient education acknowledgement forms and informed consent forms can now be downloaded and printed for wet-signature.
  • In addition to email, SMS (text) has been added as an option to send patients/subjects their engagement plan or consent forms.

“We are happy to provide these new capabilities to our customers who have been looking forward to these features,” said Navroze Eduljee, Co-Founder and CEO of 5thPort™. “The enhancements delivered in this latest release will help healthcare providers and clinical trial stakeholders be more efficient and digitize their workflows,” said Eduljee.
