With a 5thPort–MOSAIQ integration, appointments are scheduled in MOSAIQ and transferred into 5thPort. From there, patients complete their engagement plan at home, on their own time and device. These engagements may include a mix of digital education, videos, forms, and electronic consents – all delivered through the 5thPort platform.

Once completed, all signed documents and acknowledgements flow back into MOSAIQ. There’s no re-entering data, no scanning paperwork, and no manual form uploads for staff.

For the department, this creates a seamless workflow that preserves efficiency and eliminates duplicate data entry. And for patients, it shifts preparation out of the waiting room and into the home – enabling them to arrive informed, ready, and more confident for their appointment.

The integration leverages secure APIs and HL7 messaging where appropriate to exchange data in compliance with HIPAA and hospital IT standards.

Role-based access and audit trails

Every action in 5thPort is logged into a report called the One Touch Compliance Report, and documents carry timestamps and signatures that meet compliance standards before being stored in MOSAIQ.
